Batten for Skoda, VW, Cupra and Seat
Tablet and camera mount for the VW Passat Estate (B8)
Batten clips into the factory luggage-net points in the roof lining of the VW Passat Estate (B8) to carry cameras, facing forward through the windscreen or back over the seats. Tablets for the rear seats need points behind the front seats, which we haven't confirmed on this car yet. No drilling, and nothing clamped to the headrests.

The VW Passat Estate and its roof points
The Passat shares parts with the Superb, and its roof sockets also seem to come only with the factory luggage net. Points behind the front seats aren't confirmed yet.
On this car the roof points may only be fitted when the factory luggage net was ordered. Check for them before you rely on a Batten.
Does your car have the points?
Look for keyhole slots in the roof lining on each side, just behind the rear seats and on some cars just behind the front seats. On most of these cars there's no cap: the slots are simply visible in the lining. On several of these cars the sockets only come with the factory luggage net, and a panoramic roof can change where they are.

Typical layout. Yours may look slightly different.
