Who we are
Batten is a trading name of Wolstapp Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14963179), whose registered office is 10 Fern Valley Chase, Todmorden, OL14 7HB. Wolstapp Ltd is responsible for the details you give us. Contact: hello@battenrig.co.uk.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, your country, your car if you tell us, and what you'd use Batten for. Nothing else is stored with it.
The "I'm not a robot" check is a small puzzle your browser solves. It doesn't set cookies or identify you.
Our server keeps short-lived logs of pages requested and IP addresses to keep the site secure. They aren't linked to your sign-up.
Why we use it
To email you when Batten is ready for your car, to send the odd build update, and to decide which cars we design for next. We rely on your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who sees it
Only us. We don't sell or share your details. They're stored on a server we run in the United Kingdom. If we start using an email service to send updates, we'll update this notice first.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If Batten doesn't launch, we'll delete the waitlist.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, or withdraw your consent by emailing hello@battenrig.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This site doesn't set cookies or use analytics. Its fonts, images and scripts all load from this site, not from anyone else's.
When you buy from us
Batten isn't on sale yet. Before it is, we'll update this notice to cover the details needed to take and deliver an order, such as your name, address and payment.
Changes
If we change this notice we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use details you've already given us, we'll email you first. Our terms and conditions cover the rest of how the site and Batten work.
