Batten for Skoda, VW, Cupra and Seat

Tablet and camera mount for the Skoda Kodiaq

On the list · 2017 to 2024

Batten clips into the factory luggage-net points in the roof lining of the Skoda Kodiaq to carry cameras, facing forward through the windscreen or back over the seats. Tablets for the rear seats need points behind the front seats, which we haven't confirmed on this car yet. No drilling, and nothing clamped to the headrests.

The Skoda Kodiaq and its roof points

The Kodiaq takes a factory luggage net from points in the roof lining, like the Superb. We're confirming where its points sit, and whether there's a pair behind the front seats.

Does your car have the points?

Look for keyhole slots in the roof lining on each side, just behind the rear seats and on some cars just behind the front seats. On most of these cars there's no cap: the slots are simply visible in the lining. On several of these cars the sockets only come with the factory luggage net, and a panoramic roof can change where they are.

Where to look: on the roof lining, just behind the front seats and just behind the rear seats, one on each side.

Some cars hide the point under a small trim cap. On many, including most VW Group cars, there's no cap and the slot is just visible.
