The A6 / S6 / RS6 Avant and its roof points

This is the car we're developing Batten on: our own RS6 Avant. Audi's fitting instructions for the C8's load-space grille hook into keyhole points in the roof lining with no drilling, which suggests the points are fitted as standard, not only to cars ordered with the net. We're confirming that on a car without the net option. The points behind the front seats are confirmed on our car, so the A6 Avant can carry tablets for the rear seats as well as cameras.

Does your car have the points?

Look for keyhole slots in the roof lining, one on each side, just behind the rear seats and just behind the front seats. On many Audis the slots are simply visible in the lining; on some they sit under a small trim cap. If your car was ordered with the factory partition net, code 3CX is on the option sticker in the boot or in the service book.

Some cars hide the point under a small trim cap. On many, including most VW Group cars, there's no cap and the slot is just visible.
